Final cladding is now underway for a seven-story mixed-use building at 1122 W Chicago Avenue in West Town. Now branded as Nevele22 (“Eleven” backwards + 22), the 97,000-square-foot project is being developed by Lipe Property Company to include both commercial and residential space. The development is replacing a former cluster of low-rise buildings and parking lots on a triangular parcel bound by W Chicago Avenue and N Milwaukee Avenue.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development located at 6100 S Halsted Street in Englewood. Located on a city-owned lot, the vacant parcel stretches from W 61st Street to W 63rd Parkway along S Halsted Street. Keith B. Key Enterprises is the developer behind the proposal.
Construction permits were recently issued for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 4155 S Prairie Avenue in Bronzeville. James Nahon is the listed owner, whose plans for the new structure include a rear two-story staircase and deck, as well as a three-car garage. Currently, the parcel is occupied by a vacant grass plot just west of the CTA L tracks. Similar permits with the same listed parties were also issued last week for 4022 S Calumet Avenue, situated roughly a block to the northeast.

Located at the intersection of N Green Street and W Lake Street, the subject property is made up of two lots that will be combined. These include the original Subarea B from the Shapack Partners 167 N Green Street project and the existing structure at 817 W Lake Street. Sancerre Realty is the developer behind the proposal.
