The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development at 3636 N Lake Shore Drive in Lakeview East. Poised to fill a plot of empty land along N Lake Shore Drive, the project site is located at the intersection of N Lake Shore Drive and W Waveland Avenue. City Club Apartments is the developer behind the proposal.
Construction is now complete for Vermillion Development‘s Alcove Wicker Park, a 55-unit residential development located at 1648 W Division Street in Wicker Park. Plans include a seven-story condominium building with 43 units, as well as a second-phase row of 12 connected townhomes.
Renovation permits were recently issued for an existing four-story masonry building at 1723 N Honore Street in Wicker Park. As of now, the property is laid out so that four units are in the main building, while the rear coach house houses an additional unit.
A revised design has been revealed for a mixed-use development at 125 W Maple Street in the Near North Side. Located at the intersection of N LaSalle Drive and W Maple Street the proposal is sited on a corner parcel currently occupied by a four-story masonry condominium building. The structure will be bought out by the developers and demolished as part of the plan. Fifield Companies is the developer behind the proposed plan.
Exterior work is nearing the finish line for a six-story mixed-use development located at 61 W Erie Street in River North. The property was previously occupied by a two-story masonry commercial building, which would later be demolished in 2016.
