Situated near the intersection with N Sheridan Avenue the project will replace a vacant lot and most recently secure zoning approval from the City Council as well. Developer West Leland Avenue LLC is working with architecture firm ORG.
The residential development at 1100 West Grand Avenue in West Town has begun construction, and it also has a new name. Aberdeen Crossing is a seven-story, 99-unit apartment building from Wildwood Investments. Designed by bKL Architecture, the project includes 1,500 square feet of retail space and parking for 28 cars. Twenty residential units will be set aside as affordable.
