Demolition permits have been filed at 2204 N Orchard Street in Lincoln Park. The property owner, Sarah Shraiberg, has hired Precision Excavation LLC to remove the existing three-story masonry building.
Work has reached full height at 320 N Sangamon Street, a 13-story, primarily office building nearing completion in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood. 320 N Sangamon Street is being developed as a joint venture by Mark Goodman & Associates and Tishman Speyer.
Renderings have been revealed for a new proposed five-story mixed-use building at 1801 W Grand Avenue in West Town. Located on a corner lot, the project sits at the southwest corner of the intersection of W Grand Avenue and N Wood Street. The nearest public transportation is the 65 CTA Bus, accessed at the Grand and Wood stop on the edge of the site. The Ashland CTA L station, serviced by the Green and Pink Lines, is a 13-minute walk away. Salina Vest and Planrise LLC are in charge of the project development.
Renderings of the interiors and exterior show the final look for Cirrus and Cascade, two towers currently under construction in Lakeshore East. Officially addressed at 211 N Harbor Drive and 455 E Waterside Drive, respectively, Cirrus and Cascade are part of the larger Lakeshore East development within the Parcels IJKL. The site sits between N Harbor Drive and Lake Shore Drive, just south of the multi-level Wacker Drive. The towers are being developed by Lendlease and Magellan Development Group, with bKL Architecture in charge of the design.
