Located at the corner of W Waveland Avenue, the project will replace a one-story commercial building—formerly home to a marine trim shop—on a wedge-shaped lot. The first phase of construction for Northlight Theatre’s new facility is underway at 1012 Church Street in Evanston. Work is still in the early foundation stage after ground was broken on March 25th. Northlight was joined by general contractor Bulley & Andrews and design architect Eckenhoff Saunders Architects for the ceremony.

Construction, Demolition Permits Issued Two Days Apart For 1306 West Winona In Uptown

A construction permit applied for on March 12 was issued April 29 to erect a four-unit building at 1306 West Winona Street in Uptown. Two days later, on May 1, a demolition permit was granted to remove the single-family dwelling currently occupying the site.

City Council Approves Talman Lofts at 2625 N Talman Avenue In Logan Square

The Chicago City Council has approved plans for the residential conversion of the church building at 2625 N Talman Avenue in Logan Square. Located just north of the intersection with W Logan Boulevard, the current redevelopment plans were first revealed this past January by developer Mo2 Properties, who submitted a request for zoning changes.

Demolition Work And Tower Crane Mark Shedd Aquarium Renovation Progress

Renovation work to expand and improve the Shedd Aquarium continues in earnest along Lake Michigan on the Museum Campus. General contractor Pepper Construction erected a tower crane on the site in March, and that’s allowing them and contracting partner Brown & Momen to make progress on the multi-year project.
