A new redevelopment at 839 W 79th Street in Auburn Gresham has been granted Tax Increment Financing (TIF). Led by the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC), the project looks to redevelop an existing four-story structure and turn it into a mixed-use development that will serve the community. Located along W 79th Street, the building sits on an interior lot between S Green Street and S Peoria Street.
Demolition permits have been issued for 4104 S Campbell Avenue in Brighton Park. The property owner is listed as Danny’s Construction Group Inc and the demolition contractor as Kasper Development Ltd, however it may be filing entry error. The structure set to be demolished is a two-story masonry building with multiple residential units.
Construction is imminent at 508 E Pershing Road in Douglas, site of a future four-story mixed-use development. The Community Builders, Inc is developing the property that sits at the intersection of E Pershing Road and S Rhodes Avenue. The nearest CTA bus transit is the Pershing and Rhodes stop, serviced by Route 39 at the corner of the property.

Demolition permits have been filed at 2204 N Orchard Street in Lincoln Park. The property owner, Sarah Shraiberg, has hired Precision Excavation LLC to remove the existing three-story masonry building.
