A new permit has been issued for a three-story residential building located at 1627 W Warren Boulevard in the Near West Side neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as 1625 W Warren LLC. Per plans, the construction will be comprised of three total dwelling units, each equipped with rear balconies. The building will also be outfitted with a rooftop deck. Plans also indicate the presence of a three-car garage with its own rooftop deck. The lot at the construction site is currently vacant.
Beata Mainska Kociuba is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed.
The closest bus services are for Route 9 and 9x. Both of these routes can be found at the intersection of Ashland & Madison via a two-minute walk southeast. The nearest CTA access is a five-minute walk north to the Ashland station where both the Pink and Green Lines can be boarded. There is plenty of green space available at Union Park which is a three-minute walk east. There are a number of sites and retail options on North Ashland Avenue.
Hilo Inc will serve as the general contractor for the $700,000 construction. A detailed timeline containing further information such as an anticipated completion date has not yet been revealed.
