The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a proposed residential development at 4600 N Marine Drive in Uptown. The project site is bound by N Marine Drive to the east, W Wilson Avenue to the south, N Clarendon Avenue to the west, and Weiss Hospital parking to the north. The property is currently a surface parking lot owned by Weiss Hospital. The developer behind the proposition is Lincoln Property Company.
Structural work has reached its full height for a three-story residential building at 2820 W Lyndale Street in Logan Square. Prior to construction, the site was occupied by two frame residences that were demolished between 2017 and 2019.
Several caisson and site-clearing permits were issued this week for the Obama Presidential Center, a multi-building educational and cultural center planned by The Obama Foundation. Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood and set to occupy a portion of Jackson Park, the complex will contain three main buildings around a central plaza space. This plaza area will be able to host planned events and public artwork.

Poised to fill a plot of empty land along N Lake Shore Drive, the project site is located at the intersection of N Lake Shore Drive and W Waveland Avenue. City Club Apartments is the developer behind the proposal.
Construction is now complete for Vermillion Development‘s Alcove Wicker Park, a 55-unit residential development located at 1648 W Division Street in Wicker Park. Plans include a seven-story condominium building with 43 units, as well as a second-phase row of 12 connected townhomes.
