Revised plans have been revealed for the upcoming Bally’s casino at 777 W Chicago Avenue in River West. Located on the corner with N Halsted Street and replacing the Chicago Tribune printing facility, developer Bally’s has begun the bidding and permit process with revised plans for the complex. The property is being designed by SCB, Gensler, Site Design Group, Urbanworks, STL Architects, and NIA Architects among others.

Developed by Cedar St. Companies, The Sally comprises two five-story buildings, collectively offering 180 units ranging in size from studios to two-bedroom configurations, including 37 affordable residences. This complex represents the second phase of ‘The Draper,’ the initial phase of which houses 342 units and is located just south at 5050 N Broadway.

Additional Funding Approved For BandWith Chicago In East Garfield Park

Additional funding has been approved for the new BandWith Chicago headquarters at 134 S California Avenue in East Garfield Park. The non-profit organization will be redeveloping an existing industrial building bound by W Wilcox Street to the north and W Adams Street to the south. The organization itself is leading the development with Lamar Johnson Collaborative working on its design.
