Construction permits have been issued for a three-floor residential development at 1932 N Drake Avenue in Logan Square. Drake 1934 LLC is the listed owner, who plans four total units, a basement, a rooftop deck and stair enclosures, a wood trellis, and front and rear decks along all three floors. A car port for four vehicles will also be included.
Construction has reached the 12th floor for a 26-story mixed-use tower at 1400 W Randolph Street in West Loop. Developed by Marquette Companies, the project will replace a former restaurant, 11-story brick building, and parking lot. The new building’s plans comprise of 278 units atop ground-level retail. Residents will find various amenities including an outdoor pool and deck atop the 18th floor, a fitness center, and a dog park.

Planned for the site of the former Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, the property is a corner parcel located on the southwestern corner of W Carmen Avenue and N Rockwell Street. Regency Development Group is the developer behind the proposal.

Owned by John Hanches, the project will comprise of two total units, a three-car concrete parking pad, and a finished basement that will house a second floor for the bottom unit. The new construction will replace a currently vacant grass lot.
The Chicago City Council has approved Surge eSports Stadium located at 2500 S Wabash Avenue in the Near South Side. Located along S Wabash Avenue, the project will utilize two different sites. The main property, located at 2500 S Wabash Avenue, is bound by E 25th Street to the north, S Wabash Avenue to the east, a four-story residential building to the south, and a public alley and CTA L tracks to the west. The lot currently holds a two-story brick building and surface parking lot for trailers. The secondary lot, located at 2617 S Wabash Avenue, is occupied by an existing surface parking lot and one-story masonry building at the intersection of S Wabash Avenue and E 26th Street.
