The Chicago City Council has approved city financing for Casa Durango, an affordable housing development in Pilsen. Located at 1850 S Racine Avenue, the corner property fronts S Racine Avenue and W 19th Street. The Resurrection Project is the developer behind the project.

Rafal Salabaj is the filing owner, who plans three total units, each with front balconies. Other building features include a rooftop deck and stair enclosure and a three-car masonry garage. The new project will replace a two-story frame building and a detached garage.

City Club Apartments is the developer behind the proposal.
