Two-Story at 1735 N Albany Avenue Receives Permit in Humboldt Park

A permit for a new two-floor, two-unit residential building has been issued under the address 1735 N Albany Avenue in Humboldt Park. Set to be both developed and built by BM UK Enterprise Company, the new housing will come with a rooftop deck and stair enclosure. The main structure will also be accompanied by a detached three-vehicle garage. Hanna Architects is the listed architect of record.

The site is just two blocks north of the North Avenue thoroughfare, which offers bus service for Route 72 at the nearest stop of North Ave & Albany. Closest L Blue Line service is available at California Station, a 20-minute walk northeast. Also worth noting is the elevated Bloomingdale Trail (aka “The 606”), is located just a two-minute walk from the de Burgos Park access point.

The new building is expected to cost $620,000 according to reported construction fees. An anticipated completion date is not currently known.
