Facade Work Makes Headway at Northwestern Medicine Outpatient Center in Old Irving Park

Northwestern Medicine‘s Advanced Outpatient Care Center is making significant progress in Old Irving Park, with facade work underway. Located at 4445 W Irving Park Road, the four-story structure occupies a full city block bordered by W Irving Park Road, N Kenneth Avenue, and N Kilbourn Avenue. The 160,000-square-foot facility is set to offer a variety of outpatient services, including cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, imaging, immediate care, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, physical therapy, primary care, and urology.

Sale Announced For Downtown Greyhound Station

The main Chicago Greyhound bus station at 630 W Harrison Street in the Near West Side has been put up for sale for redevelopment. Located on the corner with S Jefferson Street near downtown, it is bound on the north and west sides by the newly redesigned circle interchange and is one of multiple Greyhound stops in the city. After switching hands a few times in the last years, the site has now been listed by Texas-based CBRE in a move that similarly led to the sale of the Greyhound facility where Halsted Pointe is set to rise.

Updated Groundbreaking Date Announced For Halsted Pointe On Goose Island

Updated construction dates have been announced for the first phase of the Halsted Pointe development at 901 N Halsted Street on Goose Island. Located on the island’s southern end near the future casino site, the multi-tower proposal will replace the existing Greyhound Bus facility. Canadian-based developer Onni Group is behind the project as well as the recently revised 357 N Green nearby, working with Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture on design and Hitchcock Design Group on the landscaping.

Facade Underway for Hugo Development in River North

Brickwork and metal paneling can now be seen undergoing installation along the two-building development known as Hugo in River North. Developer LG Group has planned for a total of 227 for-rent apartments across nearly 150,000 square feet of total floor area. Both nine stories, the larger edifice at 751 N Hudson Avenue will yield 134 new units while 411 W Chicago Avenue will yield 93 residences. The mixed-use project will also provide approximately 19,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. The two structures are almost adjacent save for an existing two-story building that lies between them.
