A new construction permit has been issued for a 2-story residential building with a basement at 3822 West Huron Street in Humboldt Park. The permit, issued on April 18, was processed through the city’s standard plan review process and took 41 days to complete.
The property, designed by architect Peter Sterniuk, will feature 3 dwelling units and a detached 2-car garage with 1 outdoor parking space. The project’s owner and general contractor is GT Alternatives LLC, based in Chicago.
The reported cost of the project is $350,000, with permit fees totaling $3,935.11. Of this total, $375 has been paid, with the remaining $3,560.11 unpaid at the time of permit issuance.
When complete, 3822 West Huron Street will be located a short walk from stops for the 53 and 66 bus lines. Beyond that, the Pulaski CTA Station, which services the Green Line, will be a 16 minute walk to the south of the property.
