The owner is listed under V&M Development, whose plans for the site comprise of a new four-story masonry building. This multi-unit residence will comprise of three total units, a basement, a rooftop deck, two dog houses, and a three-car garage.
JDL Development has revealed updated plans for its 8.1-acre North Union megadevelopment in the Near North Side. Generally bounded by the CTA Brown Line tracks and W Oak Street, W Chestnut Street, and N Wells Street, the North Union site will spread across eight acres. The design team for the entire development includes Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, Latent Design, and Omni Workshop.

The new structure will occupy the site of a masonry two-flat and detached garage. The owner also received approval from the City in September 2019, to convert the property from a designation of RS-3 Residential Single-Unit District to RM-4.5, Residential Multi-Unit District.
Structural work topped out last week for Optima Lakeview, a seven-story development in Lakeview East that will house 14,000 square feet of ground-level retail and 198 apartments above. Optima Inc. is serving as the developer, designer, and general contractor behind the project, located at 3460 N Broadway.
