A permit was approved late last week for a three-story, two-unit residential building to be located at 6620 S Kimbark Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The owner is listed as Crystal Moore and plans indicate this project will feature a rooftop enclosure, a rear wood deck, and a two-car garage. The development will replace a vacant lot.
Rex Jose is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time.
The closest bus services available include Routes 5, 67, and 95. These routes can be found at 67th Street & Kimbark via a two-minute walk south. There are a number of grocery and dining options in the vicinity that are available within a five-minute walk.
B. Leonard Construction, LLC will act as the general contractor for the $350,000 dollar construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
