Plans have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 135 N Des Plaines Street in West Loop Gate. Located on the southeast corner with W Randolph Street and replacing a surface parking lot, the new proposal will bring added residential units to the interstitial neighborhood which has seen other small scale proposals filling in the remaining gaps in the area. Developer Rogers Park Holdings LLC has not disclosed who their architect is, but the project was revealed via Alderman Reilly’s newsletter.

Updated Details And Dates Revealed For Tribune East Tower

Updated details and construction dates have been revealed for the mixed-use supertall skyscraper at 421 N Michigan Avenue known as Tribune East Tower. Located directly east of the recently opened Tribune Tower Residences within the historical building, the upcoming project is the second phase of that redevelopment and would change the city’s skyline. Developer CIM Group, who is working with Golub & Company, has updated the bid on their opportunities website for the Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture designed tower.

360 N Green Street’s Core Nears Full Height in Fulton Market

The core of 360 N Green Street, a 24-story mixed-use tower in Fulton Market, is nearing its final height of 399 feet. The project is being developed by Sterling Bay, which also owns several other properties in the area, including the nearby Guinness Brewery. The tower has been designed by Gensler and will feature approximately 500,000 square feet of office, retail, and amenity spaces.
