ChiBlockBuilder is the City of Chicago’s latest program designed to encourage the purchase and redevelopment of vacant lots owned by the City and simplifies the process of purchasing those properties across both the South Side and West Side. ChiBlockBuilder also increases insight and visibility into the land sales process allowing for a more equitable system. Initial applicants have until Friday, February 3rd to apply.
