A permit was approved earlier this week for a new three-story residential building at 4547 S Prairie Avenue in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood. The proposed project’s owner is listed as Chicagoland Home Investors LLC. The scope of the project details six units with balconies planned for the front of the building. Plans indicate the presence of a five-foot-tall wooden fence, a trash enclosure, and a six-vehicle parking pad at the rear of the building site. The lot is currently vacant.

Foundation work is progressing on HUGO, LG Development‘s two-building development located at 751 N Hudson Avenue and 411 W Chicago Avenue in River North. The two nine-story buildings will be nearly adjacent to one another, separated by an existing low-rise masonry building.
