The ‘Cassidy on Canal’ project, a 33-story mixed-use building located at 350 N Canal Street in the Fulton River District, is approaching the final stages of its facade installation. Jointly developed by The Habitat Company and Diversified Real Estate Capital LLC, this structure reaches a height of 355 feet, with its cladding now extending up to the rooftop level.

The building will offer 1,300 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 343 residential units, ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments, with select units offering private balconies. The amenities will feature a pool deck, a spa, fitness and recreation areas, a conference center, and a pet area on the fifth floor. For parking, the base of the tower will house a garage for 123 vehicles and storage for 185 bicycles.

Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the exterior is composed of floor-to-ceiling windows, bronze metal cladding, brick elements, and other metallic finishes. In a nod to the site’s history, bricks from the now-demolished Cassidy Tire Building will be incorporated into the building’s interior.

The location lies central to multiple public transportation options. It is served by CTA bus routes 12, 37, 56, and 65, and is just north of Clinton Station with access to the Green and Pink CTA lines. For additional rail service, the Ogilvie Transportation Center, offering Metra and Amtrak services, is situated an 11-minute walk to the south.
