YIMBY has construction photo updates of 1125 W Van Buren Street, now structurally topped out on the southern edge of West Loop, just north of Interstate 290.
Permits were filed just over a week ago for 1518 W Thomas Street, a four-story development in Noble Square, between W Thomas Street and a smaller alley. Currently on the site sits two smaller residential buildings, each two floors above ground. The lot is located two blocks west of the intersection of W Thomas Street with N Milwaukee Avenue, where bus Route 56 stops. Within a five-minute walking distance is the triple intersection of N Milwaukee Avenue, N Ashland Avenue, and W Division Street, which hosts an array of restaurants, entertainment, and outdoor activities. Also at this intersection is bus Route 70 access, as well as the CTA L Blue Line via Division Station.
YIMBY has image updates for the future 813-foot-tall Wolf Point South in River North after providing permit updates earlier this week. The 58-story office tower at 333 W Wolf Point Plaza will be the third and final installation of River North’s Wolf Point complex. A recent photo captured the caissons, concrete, and rebar beginning to form a portion of the footprint. Despite a single mobile crane currently occupying the site, freestanding crane permits have been approved, with installation likely imminent as foundation work continues.
Permits were recently filed for 1115 N Paulina Street, at the northwest corner of East Village, where a three-story, three-unit residential development is planned.
Permits were approved this week for a three-story residential building at 1750 W Huron Street in West Town, Chicago. Located between N Wood Street and N Paulina Street, the interior lot is less than a 20-minute walk north to the Division CTA L station, serviced by the Blue Line. NBM Ventures LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications, reporting $752,100 as the cost for the overall development.
