Located just north of the CTA Brown Line at Western station and near the intersection with W Lawrence Avenue, plans to renovate much of the building were revealed earlier this year along the changing corridor. Developer Rany Management is behind the project and worked with local firm Kennedy Mann Architects on its design.

The structure was formerly an Apple Store, then subsequently the canvas for a mural titled “Rapt on The Mile” by Nick Cave and Bob Faust. This third chapter for the four-story building will be a retail redevelopment by Nick Canellis and will span four levels. Initial renderings have been revealed for the remodel of the Logan Square CTA Blue Line station at 2620 N Milwaukee Avenue. Located on the intersection with N Kedzie Avenue across the street from the famed square, the multi-exit station is set to receive its first major renovation in its 50-year history. The project is being led by Chicago Transit Authority and the Chicago Department of Transportation who are working local-form Jacobs Engineering on its design.
