Three Single Family Homes Permitted For The Resurrection Project In Back Of The Yards

Three affordable single-family residences were permitted Tuesday by the City of Chicago on South Aberdeen Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The Resurrection Project is the developer of the new homes, as well as several others in the neighborhood that have already been authorized or have permits pending in the Chicago Data Portal. Deon Lucas of Beehyyve is the architect of record, with Toro Construction Corp of Orland Park named as the general contractor.

The property, which has a budget of $24,900,000, and will yield 45 dwelling units, along with ground-floor retail and meeting space. Residents and guests will have access to a partially enclosed 19-vehicle surface level parking area.
