A renovation project has begun at 2456 North Racine Avenue in Wrightwood Neighbors, focusing on revitalizing the first-floor commercial space of a three-story mixed-use masonry building at the address. The project, which was approved on March 13, is set to enhance the aesthetic and functional appeal of the property, and has a budget of approximately $20,000.
The renovation has been designed by local architect David Raino-Ogden. Koplin Construction & Design Ltd has been tasked as the general contractor for the project. The property is owned by Ted Kamberos.
2456 North Racine Avenue is a short walk from bus service for Route 74 to the south. Beyond that, the Fullerton CTA Station, which services the Brown, Red, and Purple Lines, is also a short walk southeast of the property.
