A fall opening for condominiums at 2405 West Sunnyside Avenue is fast approaching, as the construction crew continues its work on the Lincoln Square building. Platinum Homes is delivering eight new condos here, and exterior work on the residences looks close to completion. At the back of the property, work is ongoing for the lower-level parking and egress from the alley.
Construction has reached the second floor on the four-story, eight-unit residential building at 4529 North Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. As concrete block rises, so too rises the brick finish, which now covers most of the ground-level façade.
A permit for new construction has been issued for the lot at 2206 West Lawrence Avenue in Lincoln Square, allowing Longford Design + Construction to erect a ten-unit residential building. They filed their application on September 6 of last year, and it came through on June 30 with a reported construction cost of $2 million. Longford is also behind the soon-to-open Belfield at 3914 North Lincoln Avenue in North Center.
Site prep is underway for a four-story, nine-unit residential building at 5340 North Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square. The entity of 5338 N Lincoln LLC is the recipient of the permit, having submitted its application on April 24 of last year. It came through on June 24 of this year with a reported construction cost of just under $1.75 million.
Work remains at foundation level for an eight-unit residential building at 4529 North Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. A permit to build was issued in August, but the site wasn’t active until March, with very gradual progress made since then. The basement level is in, and steel work to support the upper floors spans across the concrete walls.
