A permit for new construction has been issued for the lot at 2206 West Lawrence Avenue in Lincoln Square, allowing Longford Design + Construction to erect a ten-unit residential building. They filed their application on September 6 of last year, and it came through on June 30 with a reported construction cost of $2 million. Longford is also behind the soon-to-open Belfield at 3914 North Lincoln Avenue in North Center.

A caisson permit has been issued by the City of Chicago to begin construction on the residential development at 2406 West Eastwood Avenue in Lincoln Square. The six-story building will be an addition to the existing four-story structure at 4640 North Western, which is being renovated as part of the project. Macon Construction Group contracted Precision Excavation to raze the corner building at 4634 North Western Avenue last summer to make way for the new portion.
