Work remains at foundation level for an eight-unit residential building at 4529 North Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. A permit to build was issued in August, but the site wasn’t active until March, with very gradual progress made since then. The basement level is in, and steel work to support the upper floors spans across the concrete walls.
Plans have been revealed for an upcoming mixed-use development at 4943 N Damen Avenue in Lincoln Square. Located just south of the intersection with W Argyle Street, the proposal will replace a one-story commercial structure near Winnemac Park. The project is being led by a local developer, with Red Architects handling the design.
A caisson permit has been issued by the City of Chicago to begin construction on the residential development at 2406 West Eastwood Avenue in Lincoln Square. The six-story building will be an addition to the existing four-story structure at 4640 North Western, which is being renovated as part of the project. Macon Construction Group contracted Precision Excavation to raze the corner building at 4634 North Western Avenue last summer to make way for the new portion.
Construction has reached the fourth floor on the residential development at 2405 West Sunnyside Avenue in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Platinum Homes is building a five stories with eight condominiums on the northwest corner of Western and Sunnyside Avenues, with architectural plans by 360 Design Studio. This is the same team we checked in on over at 4713 North Clark Street in Uptown yesterday.
A foundation is being dug out, and piles have been driven into the ground, for the new residential development at 4529 North Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. Two structures with dwelling units and commercial spaces at 4529 and 4531 were demolished in October of last year to clear the site for the project. Western Front LLC, an entity registered in Buffalo Grove, is the developer.
