Construction progress continues on the residential development known as The Trieuth at Lincoln Square. Developer and general contractor Northshore Development Group has completed much of the exterior work, including the west-facing balconies, which no longer show any signs of the graffiti artists who visited the site while it was in post-groundbreaking financial limbo.
Designed by Hanna Architects, the side-by-side buildings at 5015 and 5019 North Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square will each contain six units, featuring three-bedroom and four-bedroom floor plans. Sixteen parking spaces with be included, with eight in an attached garage and eight outdoors, at the rear of the two structures. Residents will share access a rooftop deck.
Northshore Development Group will also erect a third building as part of The Trieuth trifecta. A pending permit in the City of Chicago’s data portal shows a five-story, 47-unit project awaiting permission. It will feature more balconies at the front of the building, another rooftop deck, and a 16-space garage. Unlike the first two buildings, this one, addressed as 5029 North Lincoln in the permit, will include ground-floor retail space. It is also a design by Hanna Architects.
Residents of The Trieuth will find CTA bus service for Route 11 right outside their doors. Route 92 buses are available three blocks to the north, while Routes 49 and 49B stop just over a block to the east. Route 11 can be used to connect to the Western Brown Line platform about six blocks south.

Worst name ever? And it’s amusing how they have to use Golden Hour lighting in the rendering to conceal a clunker of design.
Ain’t that the Trieuth!
