Date Announced for We Will Chicago’s Panel on Environment, Climate, and Energy

As previously reported “We Will Chicago” is the first citywide initiative of its kind since the “1966 Comprehensive Plan.” We Will’s efforts are still evolving, but the three-year citywide planning initiative prioritizes equity, resiliency, and engagement to create an inclusive vision for the future of Chicago. The program is hosting the virtual series with the goal to increase vibrancy throughout Chicago, by looking at models and practices brought about by global thought leaders.

Structural steel has reached its pinnacle for the frontmost section of “The Porter,” a five-story mixed-use building rising at 2411 N Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park. Having replaced a privately-owned park at the three-way intersection of Lincoln Avenue, Halsted Street, and Fullerton Avenue, the scheme by Mike Breheny involves 3,700 square feet of retail, a 1,700 square-foot covered patio, and 36 for-rent apartments above.
