Renderings have been revealed for a proposed residential development located at 4600 N Marine Drive in Uptown. Poised to replace an existing parking lot, the building will rise at the intersection of N Marine Drive and W Wilson Avenue. Lincoln Property Company is the developer behind the proposal.
The Zoning Board of Appeals has approved a new ordinance clearing the way for a four-story mixed-use building at 2024 W Irving Park Road in North Center. The owner Sewickley, LLC is planning for ground-floor retail with 12 condominium units above.
Structural work is nearly two-thirds complete on the 74- and 49-story towers that comprise JDL‘s massive One Chicago Square mixed-use development, located near the northeast corner of River North. Set to reach 971 and 574 feet to their respective pinnacles, the taller eastern tower takes third place in Chicago YIMBY’s end-of-year development countdown.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use structure at 1340 W Washington Boulevard in West Loop. Located on the site of the Chicago Journeyman Plumber Local 130 UA campus, the structure will actually be located along W Randolph street, within the 4.1-acre larger campus addressed as 1340 W Washington Boulevard. The larger campus is bound by W Randolph Street, W Washington Boulevard, N Ada Street, N Ogden Avenue, and the recently-completed Plumbers Training Facility to the west. The development is being led by the Chicago Journeyman Plumber Local 130 UA and Chicago Title and Trust Company.
Zoning has been approved for a four-story residential building at 3604 N Campbell Avenue in North Center. The owner, listed under 2604 North Campbell Avenue, LLC, is planning 12 total dwelling units. Zoning designation of B3-2 permits commercial space on the first floor and apartments above. The now-approved amendment sought to include all-residential use, foregoing grade-level retail space. The first floor will instead include resident parking and an amenity room.
