A permit has been issued for a renovation and alteration project at 5841 North Medina Avenue in Norwood Park East. The permit was issued on June 17 after a standard plan review process that took 41 days. The scope of work includes adding a new dormer and an addition to the existing two-dwelling unit residence. The reported cost of the project is $200,000.
Various fees were paid for the permit, including a $550 building fee and a $50 zoning fee, for a total of $600. There are no outstanding unpaid or waived fees. Architect Kasia Hochberg is in charge of the designs for the project.
5841 North Medina Avenue is located a short walk from the Gladstone Park Metra Station, which services the UP Northwest Line Train.
