Updated details have been revealed for the residential development at 5400 N Ashland Avenue in Andersonville. Located at the intersection with W Balmoral Avenue, the project was originally proposed last year but was denied by the alderman due to pushback from the neighbors. The project is being led by local investor Josh Bradley with Compass Architecture LLC working on its design.

Groundbreaking Held For New Park In Andersonville

A groundbreaking ceremony has been held for a new park at 1628 W Hollywood Avenue in Andersonville. Located just west of the intersection with N Ashland Avenue, the park itself will replace a long-time vacant lot that previously held part of Edgewater Hospital. The park itself is being developed by the Chicago Park District along with local organizers, with Hitchcock Design Group working on its layout.
