Plans have been revealed for a new residential development at 5636 North Ashland Avenue in Andersonville. Located mid-block between West Hollywood Avenue and West Olive Avenue, the proposal would replace three multi-unit structures along with their rear garages. The project was presented by the 40th Ward Alderman at a community meeting last week.

At 5339 North Glenwood Avenue in Andersonville, a two-unit residence has been permitted for a deconversion into a single-family residence, but it will make up for the lost unit by building a coach house and Additional Dwelling Unit on the alley.

Updated details have been revealed for the residential development at 5400 N Ashland Avenue in Andersonville. Located at the intersection with W Balmoral Avenue, the project was originally proposed last year but was denied by the alderman due to pushback from the neighbors. The project is being led by local investor Josh Bradley with Compass Architecture LLC working on its design.
