A permit was approved last week for a new three-story residential building to be located at 2121 N Magnolia Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The owner is listed as Chicago Greystone Development-Magnolia and plans indicate this project will yield three total units along with a detached three-car garage. The structure will also have a rooftop deck with an access stair. The development will replace a previous structure on the site.

Michael S Cox is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed, though the filing description has indicated a masonry exterior.

The closest bus service available is Route 73 and can be found at Racine & Clybourn/Cortland via a five-minute walk southeast. The CTA Brown and Purple Lines can be accessed at the Armitage station which is a 10-minute walk southeast.

There is an abundance of retail and dining options in the vicinity, many of which are located within walking distance west along N Clybourn Avenue.

Buckley Builders Inc will act as the general contractor for the $750,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
