Plans for the Navy Pier Marina are set to move forward on the north side of the famed pier structure in Streeterville. Located at roughly 848 E Grand Avenue, the project has been in the works for years as part of the greater modernization efforts for the pier as it pivots for the next generation. Dubbed the Navy Pier Marina, the project is being led by NPM Ventures LLC and its founder Randy Podolsky.
Facade construction for The Saint Grand at 218 E Grand Avenue in Streeterville is nearing completion. The 21-story mixed-use structure a joint project by Mavrek Development, GW Properties, Luxury Living, and Double Eagle Development. The building will have 248 apartments, 45,000 square feet of office space, and 7,500 square feet for retail.
A community meeting has been announced to discuss the start of construction for 400 N Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville. Sitting atop of the former Spire site, the two-tower development has been in the works for many years. Most recently a financing meeting was held and now Alderman Reily is running the logistics meeting. The project is being led by Related Midwest who tapped architecture firm SOM for its design.
The Prime Group’s 28-story hotel at 150 E Ontario Street is fast approaching structural completion in the Streeterville neighborhood. Slated to join the RIU Hotels and Resorts portfolio, the 345-foot edifice will feature 388 guest accommodations, complemented by an expansive lobby and an adjoining cafe positioned at the ground floor’s southeast corner.
The Saint Grand, a 22-story mixed-use development at 535 N St Clair Street in Streeterville, has reached its full height of 238 feet.
