Chicago’s tallest construction project continues to rise out of the Chicago Spire cofferdam, as the North Tower at 400 Lake Shore grows upward. There’s still some outward growth here as well, with the tower’s footprint spreading across the construction site in Streeterville.
As vertical progress climbs, the viewing opportunities expand as well, with vantage points at Ogden Slip and the Chicago Riverwalk coming into play as venues for skyscraper gazing.
Great post! I’ve walked by this several times recently and it’s rapidly climbing. The visual effect this will have from lakefront views is going to be breathtaking.
Love to see the progress

Can it be seen from LSD yet? Just start the other tower already. Welcome the site coordination chaos.
So happy that big yawning gap is gone. Hope they use high-quality glass. This could be a stunner!
