Caisson work for The Lake social club at 205 West Superior Street in River North is in high gear, as a rig from Thatcher Foundations drills and fills concrete shafts. Bulley & Andrews is the general contractor overseeing the construction site.

The Lake Property Owner LLC got a foundation for the five-story private club in November of last year. The full building permit is still pending in the Chicago Data Portal. GREC Architects is named in both permits as the architect of record. The building will include an unspecified number of hotel guest rooms, a spa, and restaurant space. That’s according to the two permits, as no information has been shared publicly about the project.
