A permit was issued yesterday for a new two-story residential building located at 1831 W Berenice Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The owner is listed as Scott Stephen and the plans indicate this project will feature two total dwelling units, a basement level, and an attached rooftop deck. There will also be three on-site parking spots. The project comes just after the approval for permits issued to the same owner on the neighboring shared property which YIMBY reported on in November.

Samuel Pavlovcik is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed.

The closest bus service available is Route 50 and can be found at Damen & Grace, easily accessible via a five-minute walk southwest. The CTA Brown Line can be accessed at the Addison station via a six-minute walk south.

There is an abundance of retail and dining options in the vicinity, many of which are located along the N Lincoln Avenue corridor.

Maria V Contracting INC will serve as the general contractor for the $465,000 construction. There is not a detailed timeline or an anticipated completion date at this time.
