A permit was approved on Thursday for a new four-story commercial building to be located at 4445 W Irving Park Road in the Irving Park neighborhood. The owner is listed under the name Northwestern Memorial Healthcare and plans indicate that the new construction will also include two levels of open-air garage parking as well as two levels of below-grade parking. The development will replace an existing structure that is currently empty.
Andrew Jerome Lane is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been revealed at the time of this article.
For bus transportation service, Routes 54-A and 80 can be found a block east of the future property at Irving Park & Kostner. The CTA L Blue Line is accessible at the Irving Park station via a 10-minute walk east. There are many retail and dining options in the vicinity.
Power Construction Company LLC will serve as the general contractor for the $100 million construction. Full timeline details and anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
