Pre-leasing has begun for Cassidy on Canal, a new 33-story, 343-unit apartment tower located at 350 N Canal Street in Fulton River District. The building offers studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and penthouse apartments, along with ground floor retail space, parking, and an outdoor dog run. Habitat and Diversified Real Estate Capital LLC are co-developing the project, while Solomon Cordwell Buenz is the architect.

Plans have been revealed for a new mixed-use development at 600 S Homan Avenue in Homan Square. Sitting on the intersection with W Harrison Street and adjacent to the Eisenhower/I-290, the project will replace a long-time vacant lot. The Foundation for Homan Square is the developer behind the proposal with local-fim Latent Design working on its plans.
Additional Funding Announced For Rooted And Rising In Back of the Yards
Partial funding has been announced for the mixed-use development at 4630 S Ashland Avenue in Back of the Yards. Located on the intersection with W 47th Street and S McDowell Avenue, the project will replace a group of multi-story structures behind a single facade. Dubbed ‘Rooted and Rising’, the proposal is being led by the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council and Park Row Development.
