The mixed-use project sits on the intersection with N Damen Avenue, across the street from the upcoming CTA Damen Green Line station. The project is a collaboration between Brinshore Development, The Michaels Organization, and Chicago Housing Authority, with LBBA Architectects working on its design.

Damen Green Line Station Shows Off Progress in Near West Side

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is making notable strides in the construction of the new Damen Green Line Station, located at 2001 W Lake Street in the Near West Side neighborhood. This significant infrastructure project, initially proposed in 2017, had encountered delays and cost increases, raising its value to $80.2 million. The station will occupy a previously vacant site at the intersection with N Damen Avenue, reinstating rail service to a location that had lost its original station back in 1948.

This stage of 43Green, led by The Habitat Company and P3 Markets, will include 80 residential units atop 4,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level. Situated at 4309 S Prairie Avenue, this 10-story, mixed-use building is directly adjacent to the 43rd Street CTA station, with the now-completed first phase on the other side.
