The owner and developer, filed under Wilmot Construction, Inc, has planned retail and a garage on the ground floor and 11 residential units on the above floors. The structure will also include a rooftop deck, a rooftop stair enclosure, an elevator penthouse, and decks at the second, third, and fourth floors as well.
Excavation work has begun on the site of a six-story mixed-use building at 61 W Erie Street. Photos show construction equipment on site in preparation for the new structure in River North. The developer, LG Developer Group, has planned retail on the ground floor with 28 apartments above.
