Office building at 919 W Fulton Market progressing upward in Fulton Market District

Construction progress has reached the underside of the sixth floor at 919 W Fulton Market in the Fulton Market District. That’s where Fulton Street Companies is erecting an 11-story, 350,000-square-foot office building in Chicago’s Near West Side. Designed by Chicago architecture firm FitzGerald, 919 West Fulton will be adjoined to the neighboring six-story residential building being converted into office space, bringing the total square footage of the project to 530,000sf.

Shortened Design Revealed For 925 W Belmont Avenue In Lake View

Revised details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 925 W Belmont Avenue in Lake View. Originally revealed earlier this year just east of the CTA Belmont stop, the large proposal received plenty of feedback from the community leading to its new design. The project is being led by local developer Mavrek Development with Eckenhoff Saunders working on its design.

Updated Design Revealed For 1201 W Fulton In Fulton Market

Updated designs have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 1201 W Fulton in Fulton Market. Located on the intersection with N Racine Avenue on the western edge of the neighborhood, the tower is one of three-projects in the area that have revealed updates this week. Developer Fulton Street Companies is now working with GREC Architects on the revised designs.

Height Increase And Residential Pivot Announced For 357 N Green Street In West Loop

Updated designs have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 357 N Green Street in the West Loop. Located on a wedge-shaped site bound by the raised level N Halsted Street to the east, the project is pivoting from its originally approved proposal from last year. The same team is still behind the project, with Onni Group acting as the developer and local-firm SCB working on its design.

New Design Revealed For 1235 N Ashland Avenue In Wicker Park

New renderings have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 1235 N Ashland Avenue in Wicker Park. Sitting just north of the intersection with W Milwaukee Avenue, the project is the smaller sibling to the recently revised 1257 N Ashland Avenue nearby. This second structure is also being led by Noah Properties with Jonathan Splitt Architects.

Residential Development At 3627 N Sheffield Avenue Receives Alderman Approval

Plans are advancing for the residential development at 3627 N Sheffield Avenue in Wrigleyville. Sitting directly across the street from the famed stadium, the new building received the support of Alderman Lawson earlier this week. We originally reported on the project in March, the developer is unknown with DXU Architects working on its design.

Located on the intersection with N Aberdeen Street near the upcoming Fulton Park campus, it sits just north of the recently approved 345 N Aberdeen Street by the same developer Sterling Bay.

Replacing the former Cougle Commission factory on the intersection with W Carroll Avenue, news on the development broke earlier this year as developer Sterling Bay prepares to sell the site.

Details have been revealed for the mixed-use redevelopment of the large commercial property at 1800 N Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. Spread across two-lots, the project is traversed by W Willow Street and bound by N Sheffield Avenue to the east. The multi-phase project is being led by local-developer CRM Properties Group with Lamar Johnson Collaborative working on its design.

Additional Funding And Timeline Announced For 547 W Oak Street In Near North Side

Additional financing has been approved for the residential development at 547 W Oak Street in the Near North Side. Located on the intersection with N Larrabee Street, the proposal is the first phase of redeveloping a long-term vacant lot owned by the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA). The project is being led by developer BDM-I LLC made up of Brinshore & The Michaels Development Corporation.
