Plans have been announced for the renovation and expansion of the current athletic facilities within the DePaul University Campus in Lincoln Park. Located at 2300 N Sheffield Avenue just north of the intersection with W Belden Avenue, the work comes after an 18-month period of internal and community discussions according to the university’s press release. Both phases of work are being designed by Antunovich Associates and HNTB.

This four-story masonry building will contain three residential dwelling units and retail space on the ground floor. It will also feature a new rear metal deck and stairs, as well as a three-space carport. The project will replace what was previously an undeveloped site. Judson Christensen of Aurora, IL, is listed as the owner.
Plans have been revealed for the residential development at 2120 W Webster Avenue in Bucktown. Located on the northeast corner of the intersection with N Hamilton Street, the new structure will replace a surface parking lot on the campus of the St Hedwig Catholic Church. Developer DLA Piper is working with local firm SPACE Architects + Planners on its design.
