Updated Plans Revealed For Residential Development At 4555 N Dover Street In Uptown

Updated plans have been revealed for the residential development at 4555 N Dover Street in Uptown. Located on the southeastern corner of the intersection with W Wilson Avenue, the project will replace a single-story non-historical commercial building and has seen a revision to its design since we first covered it in October 2021. Developers Ayman Khalil and Kareem Musawwir are working with Axios Architects on the multi-structure proposal.

Podium Takes Shape for 225 N Elizabeth Avenue in Fulton Market District

The 28-story mixed-use development at 225 N Elizabeth Street in the Fulton Market District has started its construction phase with foundation work underway. The project has taken the 11th place in the 2022 year-end countdown and is located at the corner of W Fulton Street. The construction has now been cleared to rise over its low-height industrial neighbors.

Cladding Work Commences on Embry Condominium Development in West Loop

Cladding work has begun for Embry, a 15-story condominium development located at 21 N May Street in West Loop. This new 207-foot-tall residential project will be built on the site of an old, vacant lot that was once home to a smaller two-story masonry structure. The development is being planned by Sulo Development and will contain 58 units for sale.

Details Revealed For Residential Development At 3731 N Sheffield Avenue In Wrigleyville

Details have been revealed on the residential development at 3731 N Sheffield Avenue in Wrigleyville. Located just north of the intersection with W Waveland Avenue and a short walk away from the famed ball park, the proposal would span the two adjoining lots including the one at 3733 N Sheffield next door. Developer Mangan Builders is working with Jonathan Splitt Architects on the project that utilizes a unique approach.

Three Buildings Cleared for New Mixed-Use Project at 1138 W Belmont Avenue in Lake View

Developer SNS Realty Group has received demolition permits for three low-rise buildings at 1134 W Belmont Avenue, 1138 W Belmont Avenue, and 1142 W Belmont Avenue in Lake View. The containing plot will give way to a new five-story mixed-use development under the address 1138 W Belmont Avenue, which will yield 33 units and 2,800 square feet of commercial space.

Demolition Permits Issued for 3523 N Oakley Avenue in Roscoe Village

Revised Plans Revealed For Residential Development at 1453 N Sedgwick Avenue In Old Town

Revised plans have been revealed for the residential development at 1453 N Sedgwick Avenue in Old Town. Located a block south of the intersection with W North Avenue, the proposal will replace two two-flats which date back to 1883 with a single structure in the changing area, shrinking in size from its initial announcement. The development of the project is being led by Danny Xin who is also the owner of the lots themselves, while no architect was disclosed.

Committee On Design Reviews Updated Plans For 330 N Green Street In Fulton Market

The Committee on Design has reviewed the updated plans for 330 N Green Street in Fulton Market. Located just north of the intersection with W Wyman Street and replacing a vacant lot that was once the home of Coyne College, the mixed-use proposal is moving forward with a new taller and slimmer proposal we last covered in October. The Gensler-designed tower will be the third in the immediate area by developer Sterling Bay, with 360 N Green Street reaching its final height this week just to the north.

Core Nears Full Height for 360 N Green Street in Fulton Market District

The core is now approaching its full height for 360 N Green Street, a 24-story mixed-use tower at the northeast corner of Fulton Market. The tower, located directly east of Guinness Brewery, will stand 399 feet tall.
