The permit came through 203 days after its application start date of March 11 with a reported cost of $300,000. It names the property owner as 4512 Central LLC; 4512 North Central is the address of the home that will be demolished for redevelopment.

A PNC Bank branch has been permitted for construction at 5430 West Belmont Avenue on the south boundary of the Portage Park Community Area. It will be built on a surface parking lot across the street from an existing PNC Bank facility at 5455 West Belmont. That branch, due to its location on the south side of the street, is in the Belmont Cragin Community Area.

A core and shell permit was issued on November 7 to get construction underway on a new restaurant space at 4045 North Cicero Avenue in Portage Park. And while this permit fails to cite a business name, an undated pending permit in the Chicago Data Portal for the same address cites Pita Inn as the restaurant on the way to the Six Corners redevelopment.

A permit to build 18 residential units languishing in the Chicago Data Portal since September 2024 has now been issued by the City of Chicago. That permission was granted on October 8th for 4125 North Narragansett Avenue in Portage Park, and it comes through with a reported cost of $1.25 million. Developer Artur Drezek of Borter Z Inc filed the application on September 10, 2024.

Real estate records show the home sold for $585,000 in 2023, with developer Borter Z, Inc making the purchase and delivering plans for the new project.
