Final work on the base and roof is wrapping up for River North‘s 13-story 448 N LaSalle Drive, a planned mixed-use development by Midwest Property Group.
Permits have been issued for a three-story residential building planned for West Town. The owner, M14 Land Investments, LLC, is planning four total units for the building, as well as a basement, rooftop deck, and rooftop stair enclosure. For parking, there will also be a detached four-car garage with its own rooftop deck.
Equipment is now on site for the 12-story mixed-use building at 1210 N State Parkway, formerly listed as 1200 N State Parkway. Located in Gold Coast, the development will replace a collection of now-demolished masonry buildings.
A partial construction permit has been issued for a four-story residential building, located in the southwest corner of Lincoln Park in the Old Town Triangle area. Filed under Sedgwick 1845 LLC, the development will also feature a roof deck, four rear balconies, and a detached two-car masonry garage. An integrated elevator is also planned, but has been slated for approval via a separate permit.
Exterior restoration work of the Old Republic Building is well underway at 307 N Michigan Avenue in the northwest corner of The Loop. Originally designed by Vitzthum & Burns and completed in 1924, the 24-story commercial office and retail building was known as the Bell building until 1956 and designated as a landmark in 2010.
