Updated Plans Revealed For 3950 N Damen Avenue In North Center

Updated plans for the mixed-use development at 3950 N Damen Avenue and 3959 N Lincoln Avenue in North Center. Located on the six-corner intersection with W Irving Park Road, the two-building proposal will replace a parking lot and drive-thru bank west of Damen and redevelop the existing bank structure on Lincoln. Developers CRG and Ravine Park Partners are working with local architecture firm Lamar Johnson Collaborative on the new design.

Further Details Revealed For Halsted Landing In River West

Further details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 700 W Chicago Avenue in River West. The large project sits to the east of the intersection with N Halsted Street and will replace part of the Chicago Tribune facility, directly across the street from the upcoming permanent casino. The proposal is being led by Canadian-based developer Onni Group who is working with Goettsch Partners on its design.

Training Facility for Chicago Fire Football Club Continues Foundation Work at Addams/Medill Park

Construction is quickly advancing for the Chicago Fire Football Club’s new 30-acre training facility at 1434 S Loomis Street in the Near West Side. Designed by Crawford Architects, this 30-acre project will revitalize a mostly unused part of Addams/Medill Park, a site where four CHA complexes once stood until 2007.

Evanston Approves New Ryan Field Stadium Plans

The City of Evanston has approved the new Ryan Field stadium at 1505 Central Street in Evanston. Located on the intersection with Ashland Avenue, the new building will rebuild the existing bowl-style stadium owned and used by Northwestern University. The work is being led by the university itself with Kansas City-based architects HNTB serving as the designers who have worked on other college venues.

The ‘Cassidy on Canal’ project, a 33-story mixed-use building located at 350 N Canal Street in the Fulton River District, is approaching the final stages of its facade installation. Jointly developed by The Habitat Company and Diversified Real Estate Capital LLC, this structure reaches a height of 355 feet, with its cladding now extending up to the rooftop level.

Plans Revealed For Affordable Development In Humboldt Park

Located on the southwest corner with N Spaulding Avenue, the new project will replace a two-story structure that most recently held a Spanish church with a small parking lot. The proposal is being led by LUCHA and Full Circle Communities, with local architecture firm DesignBridge working on its design.

Tax Increment Financing and Land Sale Approved for 4531 W Washington in West Garfield Park

A new affordable residential development at 4531 W Washington Boulevard in West Garfield Park is closer to construction with the approval of a land sale and $10 million in tax increment financing. The four-story project is a collaborative initiative between CARE Manor and National Equity Fund , aiming to redevelop seven plots. Of these, five are owned by the developer and two by the city.

Located on the northwest corner with W Balmoral Avenue, the proposal will replace a one-story house just one block west of the Clark Street corridor. The project is being led by local real estate investor Josh Bradley, with Compass Architecture LLC working on its design.
