Located a block south of the intersection with W North Avenue, the proposal will replace two two-flats which date back to 1883 with a single structure in the changing area, shrinking in size from its initial announcement. The development of the project is being led by Danny Xin who is also the owner of the lots themselves, while no architect was disclosed.

Committee On Design Reviews Updated Plans For 330 N Green Street In Fulton Market

The Committee on Design has reviewed the updated plans for 330 N Green Street in Fulton Market. Located just north of the intersection with W Wyman Street and replacing a vacant lot that was once the home of Coyne College, the mixed-use proposal is moving forward with a new taller and slimmer proposal we last covered in October. The Gensler-designed tower will be the third in the immediate area by developer Sterling Bay, with 360 N Green Street reaching its final height this week just to the north.

Funding Approved For American Blues Theater In West Ridge

Funding has been announced for the new home of The American Blues Theater at 5627 N Lincoln Avenue in West Ridge. Located just north of the intersection with W Bryn Mawr Avenue and near Rosehill Cemetery, the theater will be redeveloping a one-story commercial building built in 1985 that previously housed a Dollar General. Morris Architects Planners are leading the structure’s re-design with Schuler Shook supplying the theater systems.

Located on an unusually wide Chicago lot within a row of historical stone homes north of E 46th Street, the small project is being developed by Exbud LLC. Due to being within the North Kenwood Historic District, the project needed to take into consideration its surroundings and fit in within the site context.
