In fact, there appears to be only a small section on the southwest corner of the building that remains to be done. Located at the corner of Western and Leland Avenues in Lincoln Square, time is of the essence for the building, as developer The Community Builders expects to have residents begin moving in before 2025 begins.

Construction continues at topped-out 2839 West Belmont Avenue in Avondale

Construction progress is ongoing on the apartment building at 2839 West Belmont Avenue in Avondale. Located just west of the intersection with California Avenue, developer Wilmot Properties is bringing 24 rental units to the neighborhood in a five-story, two-toned brick structure. The project will include office space and a 24-car garage on the ground floor, according to the construction permit issued by the City of Chicago on December 26 of last year.

Work below grade is underway for a new residential development at 1162 North Milwaukee Avenue in West Town. Located on the northwest corner of Milwaukee and Haddon Avenue, the project, dubbed Wicker Park Place, will be addressed as 1504 West Haddon Avenue. Developed by Wicker Park Apartments, who’s also performing general contractor duties, the apartment building is a design by former Chicago firm Milbury Architects.
