Chicago and surrounding areas to have chosen to limit natural gas usage in new buildings. Initially integrated into the Illinois stretch energy code, the rejection stemmed from concerns regarding potential legal liabilities for communities according to CarbonCredits.com.

Northwestern to Host Home Games in Temporary On-Campus Stadium

Northwestern’s football team is set to play most of its 2024 and 2025 home games at the Lanny and Sharon Martin athletics facility on the university’s Evanston campus. A temporary structure will be constructed, offering views of Lake Michigan, North Campus, and downtown Chicago, serving as a transitional venue until the new Ryan Field opens in 2026.
