Additional funding has been secured for the upcoming mixed-use development at 310 West Huron Street in River North. With work already underway on the nearly block-long structure at the corner of North Franklin Street, developers ZSD and Third Coast Real Estate have secured a $44 million loan to fund the remainder of construction.
Plans for a new mixed-use development at 1040 West Belmont Avenue in Lake View are moving forward, as a zoning application has been submitted. Located near the intersection with North Kenmore Avenue, the proposal would replace a one-story commercial building currently occupied by Giordano’s Pizza near the CTA Belmont station.
Plans for a new residential development at 1805 North Campbell Avenue in Logan Square have been approved by the Chicago City Council. The project is set to rise along the 606 trail at the corner of West Bloomingdale Avenue, replacing a single-family home and its expansive yard. Initial details were revealed in 2024 and updated last summer.
Plans are moving forward for the mixed-use redevelopment of the historic Werner Bros. Storage building and the adjacent commercial structures along the corner of West Howard Street. Located at 7603 North Paulina Street in Rogers Park, the project has been in the works for several years and has gone through various iterations and changes in density.
Funding has been secured for the redevelopment of Hotel Florence at 11111 South Forrestville Avenue, located in the heart of Pullman National Historic Park. The historic structure stands on the corner of East 111th Street, across from the visitor center and museum. Plans to revive the hotel have been in the works for years, finally moving forward late last year.
